Navodaya Lok Chetna Kalyan Samiti

We work for social transformation by protecting children, empowering women via skill development, and promoting the health of adolescents and women through awareness camps.

Navodaya Lok Chetna Kalyan Samiti is a non-profit organization established in 2002 and dedicated to social welfare and sustainable development. Our mission is to promote gender equality, child rights, women's empowerment, and health awareness. We strive to create a positive and inclusive environment for all members of our community. Through our initiatives, we challenge societal norms, advocate for equal rights, and provide opportunities for education and vocational training. We are committed to eradicating child labor, protecting the rights of children, and empowering women through skill development and entrepreneurship. Additionally, we prioritize health awareness campaigns, particularly focusing on adolescent health, self-care, and group well-being.

Our Programs

Women Awareness Meetings

Our NGO conducts regular awareness meetings to educate and empower women about their rights, including legal, social, and economic. We aim to create a supportive environment for women, encouraging their active participation in decision-making processes.

Child Rights, Adolescent Health, and Balika Suraksha Program

Our comprehensive program aims to protect and promote the rights of children, address the unique health needs of adolescents, and ensure the safety and well-being of girl children. Through advocacy, education, and support, we work towards creating a nurturing environment where every child can thrive. We focus on eradicating child labor, providing access to quality education and healthcare, and raising awareness about reproductive health, hygiene practices, and gender-based violence. By empowering children, adolescents, and girls, we strive to create a future where their rights are respected, their health is prioritized, and their potential is realized.

Awareness Programme for Anganwadi workers

Under the Health Mission, the Navoday Lok Chetna Kalyan Samiti conducted training for trainers, including ASHA workers and Anganwadi staff. The training focused on women's rights and equality, facilitating discussions to enhance awareness. Mission Shakti Program

As part of the Mission Shakti program on January 12, the Shakti Didi Weekly Program provided girls with information on police procedures and helpline numbers. This initiative aimed to empower girls by educating them on legal rights and avenues for seeking help in case of emergencies. By imparting knowledge about the process and resources available, the program equips girls with tools to navigate challenging situations and access support when needed. Such initiatives contribute to building resilience and ensuring the safety and well-being of girls within the community.
